Agreement and eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Fuel Fridge for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. If local law requires parental consent for your age, a parent or guardian must provide it.

Your account

Provide accurate registration information, protect your password, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the activity resulted from Fuel Fridge's failure to protect the service. One person should not create multiple accounts to avoid plan limits.

The service and AI

Fuel Fridge uses AI to identify likely ingredients in images and create recipe suggestions from the ingredients you confirm. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Review detected ingredients, quantities, instructions, and results before relying on them.

The app may offer editing, saving, history, plan management, and other features. Features can evolve as long as changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.

Your content

You retain ownership of photos, ingredient lists, and other content you submit. You grant Fuel Fridge a limited, worldwide license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service or comply with law.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not upload unlawful content, personal documents, or images that unnecessarily identify another person.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

The current Free plan includes two fridge scans in each rolling 24-hour period. The Monthly plan is currently US$5 per month and the Lifetime plan is currently a one-time US$25 payment; both currently include up to six scans per rolling 24-hour period. Checkout shows the final price, currency, and applicable taxes before payment.

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Web subscriptions are billed and managed by Stripe. If you cancel, paid access normally continues through the end of the current billing period, after which the account returns to the Free plan unless law requires a different result.

“Lifetime” means access for the remaining life of the Fuel Fridge service under these terms, not the purchaser's lifetime. Prices, limits, and plan features may change prospectively. Refunds are provided where required by law or stated at checkout. Future mobile purchases may also be governed and refunded by Apple or Google.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• break the law or violate another person's rights;
• bypass authentication, rate limits, or subscription controls;
• probe, attack, disrupt, scrape, or overload the service;
• upload malware or harmful, deceptive, or illegal content;
• reverse engineer protected parts of the service except where law permits; or
• resell or automate access without written permission.

Fuel Fridge ownership

Fuel Fridge and its design, software, branding, and original content are owned by Fuel Fridge or its licensors. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service; they do not transfer our intellectual property to you.

Availability and termination

We work to keep Fuel Fridge reliable but do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, providers, emergencies, or changes in law can affect availability. We may suspend access to protect the service or address a serious breach, and will provide notice where practical.

You may delete your account from Profile. Account deletion removes Fuel Fridge resources as described in the Privacy Policy. Before deleting an account, cancel any subscription billed by an external app store separately; deleting an account may not cancel that store charge.

Disclaimers and liability

Fuel Fridge is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from AI output, food decisions, or interrupted access.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. Where liability may be limited, Fuel Fridge's total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

General terms

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. Our delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without permission; Fuel Fridge may transfer it as part of a reorganization or sale with appropriate notice.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Fuel Fridge's operator, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live. We may update these terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
